Basketball

Today we had basketball in the court. When we got there we had to warm up. The warm up activity was  to run around the court an back three or four times. We had a game.Which was a fun one,the activity was to get in teams coach can tell us how to play this game. “So here is how you play, the game is very simple and easy, I have to call out a number any number , then you or you’s two has to run and fetch the ball, and if you don’t pass it to each other or the team, you won’t get a point” say coach.

She yelled out a number the number was four. Four people was running I was in it to I  as fast as car, well not that fast, but anyway I was running fast MY TEAMMATE  PASSED ME THE BALL AND I PASSED IT TO MY OTHER TEAMMATE HE PASSED THEN I WENT FOR THE SCORE.................YES!!!AND CROWED GOES WHILE !!!! OhOhOhOhOhOhOhOhO!!! nah just joking the growed won’t go while when I just took one shot. Well that was the last game of the term. We end up with OUR TEAM WINNING!!!, and a thank you for coach Steph for teaching about the rules and how to play probate basketball. Hopefully next term we will be doing basketball again.

Epic Zoo Trip

Yeah yeah yeah yeah!! Epic Zoo Trip!! On Friday the 4th of April room 10,9 and 7 went to the zoo.Two buses came to school and picked us up.The zoo was next to Motat. Motat is where all of the vehicles and tanks from the word war one, two and three and back in the old days stuff. Any way it’s next to motat.

When we got to the zoo we got into a line and waited for the teacher’s to come with the instructors . When the teachers came with the instructors they introduced themselves  to us, There was Laura, Richard and John.Our teacher Mrs Raj & Mrs Parker flowed by Mrs Atoahiva and Mrs Pome’e. is

When it’s was time to go in, Mrs Raj send us group at a time.On our way in the zoo I saw a huge lizard, I thought to myself hmm? Is that real nah it can't be, I took another look and it was fake I laugh hard out.

Wow!! the zoo looks amazing I never imagine  something like this in the zoo. The instructors took us to a place that had peace and quiet. The instructors told us to be quiet when we entered the kea’s habitat. John our instructor said if you stand still and be quiet the kea will come and stand on your head for a little while then he/she will fly away.

I was so happy that got to go to the zoo because it was my first time going to the zoo. After that (cause we only have 15 minutes each to go with the instructor to each bird habitat)

{I learnt that eel swim near tonga and have a baby when they are over 80 or 70, and when they have a baby the baby eel swim back and find their way back where they belong. }

Then came interval.The team had lunch after a history walk around the zoo. Then came the best part of all.We can go explore the whole entire zoo. First we went to the giraffe and the zebra habitat, them two are mix so they live in the same habitat that goes with an animal named emu. A Emu is an animal that has a long neck that is half way of an giraffe neck.

Next up elephant world, at first when I saw an elephant I thought it was small but in person it look so huge that I couldn't say a word. The elephant was just standing there eating a pile of grass.

Our leader took us to the hippo place but first we went to the rhino habitat. Did you know that a rhino weighs 2 tons  more than a car, no I did not think so but anyway, we went to see the lion but only got to see the ear of the lion because the lion was lying down on the ground. we went to the hippo habitat. Our group can’t see the hippo only when they come up from the water. If you see water spreading out from the hippopotamus habitat that means they are in the toilet.

Next we went to the trigger’s Habitat. Tigers sometimes come out at night,we saw the trigger playing around with her boxing bag . Sadly came it came to an end but hopefully we can come next time. We got into the bus went to school. Mrs Raj just reminded us about the long bay trip on Monday, and everybody jumped up and down.
