Today I went on my Maths Whiz  and got on my place value I am proud of myself

Today I read a book called  Red Alert Text by Dale Harcombe.
Illustrations by Jenifer Cooper.
this book is about a woman that keep on  sneezing. I am proud of myself because I am reading at level 26.

Soccer Sesstion 3

Today we had a mini soccer tournament with Ben.We had four teams.

One team won the first round and one team won the other round.So finally is was our turn to play. My team were so eager to play there faces were as red as a rose.

We were playing hard as we can. So I ran fast as the wind and I jumped as high as a basketball player.

We had so much fun until it came to an end. After we finish we had a talk Ben said “ We are still not using our skills”. "We still learnt how to shot a goal though"  I said.

I can not wait till the next session to learn more.

Today I learn multiplication
and it was fun there was different stuff to do is cool learn form it.

Soccer Session 2

Today we had soccer.We learnt soccer skills.

When we got there ben told us  

to have a rest. the boys had to go first and then the girls had to go seccon.

After that ben told us skills first one was dreballiling  .

after that we had a game on the last 5 minint game was a tiy

Find the perimeter of the following squares

WALT find the Perimeter of 2D shapes

Formulae:

Perimeter of a Square = side + side + side + side or 4 x side

Example: The perimeter of a square of side  5cm = 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 20 cm or 4 x 5 = 20 cm

Find the perimeter of the following squares:

The perimeter of a square of side  10cm =40cm     

The perimeter of a square of side  25cm =100cm

The perimeter of a square of side  5m =20cm

The perimeter of a square of side  50m =200cm

The perimeter of a square of side  1km =4km

Perimeter of a Rectangle = length + width + length + width or 2 x l + 2 x w

Example: The perimeter of a rectangle whose length is 6cm and width is 4cm = 6 + 4 + 6 + 4 = 20 cm or 2 x 6 + 2 x 4= 12 + 8 = 20 cm

Find the perimeter of the following rectangles whose lengths and widths are given below:

Rectangle 1 - length is 8cm and width is 5cm

Perimeter = 26cm

Rectangle 2 - length is 10cm and width is 7cm

Perimeter = 34cm

Rectangle 3 - length is 8m and width is 6m

Perimeter = 38cm

Rectangle 4 - length is 16m and width is 10m

Perimeter = 52cm

Rectangle 5 - length is 4km and width is 2km

Perimeter = 12km
